Job summary

FAIRWINDS Credit Union in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team at our on-site branch. You will coach staff, drive member service, lending, and product penetration while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

You’ll serve as a loan officer, open new accounts, and guide members through FAIRWINDS products and services. Collaborate with the Branch Manager to grow member relationships and achieve branch goals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a member-facing and/or leadership role.
• Natural coach and mentor; develops others and provides constructive feedback.
• Strong knowledge of FAIRWINDS products, services, systems, and lending procedures.

Responsibilities

• Foster a coaching-focused environment to develop the team and meet service goals.
• Serve as loan officer and interviewer, processing applications and disbursing funds.
• Open new accounts and guide members on FAIRWINDS products and services.
• Support branch operations: staffing, scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager on strategy, goals, and compliance.
