Job summary

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, open accounts and loans, and deliver outstanding member service. You will supervise staff, balance cash, audit new accounts, and promote self-service options while upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism.

The role requires 2-5 years in new accounts and lending, strong communication, and supervisory skills within a friendly, service‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of new account and lending experience
• Excellent service and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision experience
• Knowledge of branch operations procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree in a business-related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service by opening and servicing accounts and loans as well as answering questions in a prompt and professional manner.
• Improve the financial well-being of our members by offering products and services to save time and money.
• Supervise all aspects of the branch.
• Perform audits on new accounts and loan documentation.
• Manage a cash drawer and assist in daily branch balancing.
• Present a neat and professional personal appearance, in accordance with credit union professional image standards.
• Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer facing technology with the ability to discuss with and enroll members in self-service options.
• Set goals and objectives for team members, guide staff in developing action plans to reach stated goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned
