Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Baker to partner with the Baker to ensure high-quality cakes and timely production. You will follow proprietary recipes, operate commercial bake equipment, and maintain safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role emphasizes precise measurement, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with flexibility across shifts and a commitment to guest satisfaction at our Herndon bakery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret recipes and health guidelines.
• NbC recipes available in English and Spanish.
• Understands basic U.S. measurement units.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to operate commercial bakery equipment and work near high-heat sources.
• Meticulous with exact measurements, timing, and fast-paced production.
• Independent, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Follow NbC recipes and production methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
• Use measuring instruments, mixers, ovens and other tools to bake cakes.
• Prepare raw ingredients and arrange cake pans for baking.
• Assist baker with daily baking and production flow.
• Package, label, and store baked cakes following rotation standards.
• Keep workstation clean, sanitized and stocked for next shift.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
