Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is hiring an Assistant Baker/Utility to support the Baker in producing high-quality cakes and meeting production demands. You will follow proprietary recipes, operate commercial bakery equipment, and maintain cleanliness and safety across shifts.

The role emphasizes accurate ingredient preparation, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and reliable attendance, with opportunities for growth within a growing bakery family.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No formal education or work experience is required, but previous bakery or foodservice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually washes, rinses and sanitizes baking pans, dishes, utensils and other tools.
• Follows NbC recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
• Operates measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assists baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking; places cake pans into a hot oven and monitors the baking process.
• Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Adheres to proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and assists baker to ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
• Complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintains consistent work attendance and punctuality.
