Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to monitor and enforce asset protection, safety, and compliance across the store. You will work with the Market Asset Protection Manager, train Outfitters, and remain available on the sales floor to educate on best practices.

The role emphasizes investigating shrink, maintaining inventory accuracy, and promoting a safe environment for employees and customers through data-driven reviews and proactive security measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local jurisdiction.
• Prior experience in security, asset protection, and safety preferred or retail inventory background.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training on shrink, safety, and security functions for Outfitters.
• Cascade asset protection directives to store leadership and Outfitters as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service on floor and when spotting suspicious activity.
• Identify root causes of shrink via cycle counts, audits, and vendor compliance opportunities.
• Review inventory adjustments and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
