Belk, Inc. & Belk eCommerce LLC. is seeking an Asset Protection Lead to support the store in reducing shortages and improving profitability. This hourly role leads process improvements, ensures policy compliance, and acts as a change agent within a collaborative store culture.

You will implement training, handle incidents per procedures, and coordinate with local teams to safeguard assets while maintaining customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience / AP experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Support proactive shortage reduction by identifying and preventing theft, fraud, and dishonesty.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and communicate them effectively.
• Assist with internal, external, and organized retail crime incidents per procedures and laws.
• Ensure all apprehensions follow proper protocol and are documented.
