The role requires 2+ years in asset protection or retail, a 4-year degree preferred, strong communication, willingness to work nights and weekends, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Asset Protection or relevant retail experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights, evenings and weekends appropriate to retail business needs.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation.
• Preferred Wicklander - Zulawski trained in interviewing.
• Must fulfill all physical requirements including standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Execution of Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations (4-8 stores) and shortage reduction programs in high shrink locations.
• Partner with local store management to meet strategic Asset Protection objectives.
• Leverage business and sales performance to reduce shortages.
• Provide training to store personnel on safety and Asset Protection initiatives.
• Conduct operational audits to monitor pre-shrink indicators and safety compliance.
• Investigate inventory, cash loss, and policy violations; conduct surveillance as needed.
• Initiate and support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime with Zone ORC Investigator and local law enforcement.
