The role partners with local management to meet strategic AP objectives and enhances loss-prevention through training and audits. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in asset protection, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in asset protection or retail security.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions per policy.
• Willingness to work nights, evenings and weekends.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Wicklander–Zulawski interviewing training preferred.
• Must meet all physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute Asset Protection initiatives across assigned locations (3–6 stores) and support shortage reduction programs.
• Collaborate with store management to meet AP objectives.
• Utilize performance data to reduce shrink and drive compliance.
• Provide training on safety guidelines and crisis management to store staff.
• Conduct operational audits and monitor pre-shrink indicators and safety measures.
• Investigate inventory, cash loss, and policy violations; interview associates as needed.
• Surveil with CCTV/floor techniques to deter theft per policy; coordinate with ORC investigations.
