Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate in our San Jose store to coach teams, monitor security, and investigate incidents.

You will work with store leadership to identify theft trends, promote awareness, and uphold safe store operations. The role requires strong investigative and communication skills, experience with CCTV/EAS, and the ability to respond effectively in potentially violent situations.

Qualifications

• Retail investigations experience preferred.
• Ability to conduct interviews and gather evidence.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and asset protection best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train associates on shrink awareness and theft deterrence.
• Identify theft trends with leadership and develop action plans.
• Monitor store security through surveillance and audit tools.
• Conduct external theft apprehensions and interviews lawfully.
• Investigate criminal activity and support law enforcement.
• Respond to potentially violent situations with safety and composure.
• Assist in internal investigations and provide evidence when needed.
• Validate security measures and respond to alarms.
• Provide feedback on audit findings to minimize risk.
