Qualifications

• Observe suspicious activity in a retail environment and respond appropriately.
• Demonstrate strong communication with customers, colleagues, leaders, and law enforcement.
• Apply sound judgment and de-escalation techniques consistent with policy and law.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• For jobs in New York, a current New York State Security Guard License is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft and shortage trends using surveillance, investigations, and reporting tools.
• Partner with store teams, Asset Protection leaders, and law enforcement on investigations.
• Use de-escalation tools and sound judgment to maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare clear documentation, statements, and evidence to support investigations.
• Train colleagues on asset protection protocols and shortage reduction.
