Key duties include preparing evidence, supporting investigations, and training staff on protection protocols while ensuring customer and colleague safety in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to observe, identify, and respond to suspicious activity in a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills to partner with customers, colleagues, leaders, and law enforcement.
• Use sound judgment, de-escalation tools, and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Handle proprietary, sensitive, and confidential information with discretion.
• New York State Security Guard License may be required for NY-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Use surveillance techniques and reporting systems to identify theft and shortage trends.
• Partner with store teams and law enforcement to support investigations.
• Prepare documentation and evidence to support investigations and legal proceedings.
• Train colleagues on asset protection protocols and shortage reduction.
• Respond to alarm calls and assist with safety procedures as needed.
