Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Asset Management Business Partner to drive lifecycle performance of assets across the BU.

You will oversee fleet management, margin analysis, and profitability, coordinating with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, and other functions to maximize asset utilization and ROA. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to manage asset deployment and reporting across 188,000+ vehicles valued at about $6.8B.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics
• Five (5) years or more experience in Rental, Operations, Sales or industry related experience required

Responsibilities

• Fleet management within assigned geographical area; analyze product lines, margins, profitability and assets.
• Lead asset calls/reviews; coordinate with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, RVS, and other functions to optimize asset performance.
• Manage and track asset deployment, depreciation, and lifecycle metrics; drive improvements across BU.
• Provide leadership and training to cross-functional teams; work to maximize asset utilization and ROA.
