Job summary

State-of-West-Virgini is seeking a professional to manage fixed assets, inventory, and fleet vehicles within WV Oasis, including maintenance scheduling and mileage tracking. The role also covers non-fixed assets and staff supervision of three warehouse employees.

Candidates should have at least two years in administrative services such as accounting or budgeting; a bachelor’s degree is preferred with relevant substitution options for experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; major in public/admin, business, accounting, industrial relations, communications or related field.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid work in a technical or professional role providing administrative services (e.g., accounting, budgeting, project monitoring and reporting, personnel, procurement, or property).
• Graduate study may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fixed Asset Inventory and retirements in WV Oasis.
• Oversee fleet vehicle management, maintenance, scheduling, and mileage reporting.
• Track mileage for pool vehicles and reimburse programs; train staff on state vehicle policy.
• Supervise three warehouse staff and ensure efficient operations.
• Handle non-fixed asset management like office supplies and disaster recovery items.
