Job summary

GMB Powerline Services is seeking a Fleet Coordinator in West Virginia to manage daily readiness and deployment of our fleet of vehicles and equipment for project work and storm response. You will inspect, document, and coordinate maintenance to keep assets ready and compliant while supporting rapid deployment across regions.

Work with Operations, Safety, and field leadership to track locations, plan transfers, and optimize fleet utilization.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, Fleet Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet coordination, transportation operations, or logistics.
Experience with DOT and FMCSA requirements is a plus.
Experience using fleet management software and asset-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily assignment and deployment of vehicles, trailers, and equipment for projects and storm response.
Ensure fleet is operational, properly stocked, and ready to meet schedules.
Maintain visibility of fleet availability across regions and coordinate transfers.
Monitor inspections, maintenance schedules, and repair status with shop foreman.
Maintain records for inspections, registrations, and licenses to ensure compliance.
Prepare utilization, maintenance, and readiness reports; support budgeting and vendor coordination.
