Job summary

West Virginia Department of Health is seeking a Director of Facilities and Logistics to lead procurement workflows, fleet operations, and mail processing across the agency footprint. You will manage vendor relations, budget oversight, and daily facility operations to ensure compliant, efficient services.

You will provide executive oversight of purchasing strategies, fleet maintenance, inventory control, and risk mitigation for OSA and related departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of progressive public procurement, logistics, or facilities management experience.
• Strong knowledge of public sector purchasing laws and fleet management.
• Experience supervising diverse administrative teams.
• Preferred CPSM/CPPO/CFM/PMP or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement and contracts while ensuring state procurement compliance.
• Direct logistics, supply chain, and centralized mail processing across departments.
• Direct and manage the agency's fleet operations and maintenance programs.
• Supervise Administrative Services and Procurement teams; mentor staff.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on procurement cycle times, fleet costs, and maintenance.
