Job summary

Kelly Services seeks an Electronic Assembly Operator in Maple Grove, MN to assemble electronic components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will manually place parts on circuit boards, inspect them, and follow GMP standards to ensure high-quality products.

Shift is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM. Prior electronics/manufacturing experience is a plus; strong attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and GMP standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
• Basic math and PC skills; effective communication with supervisors and team.
• Experience in electronics or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually place parts on circuit boards per detailed instructions and visual aids.
• Perform standardized and repetitive electronic assembly and labeling of components.
• Inspect parts for proper placement and insertion.
• Utilize barcode scanners and small hand tools.
• Maintain accurate progress reports and restock parts bins.
• Follow company safety, health, and security policies (5S).
• Work under direct supervision and complete other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manually place parts on circuit boards, following detailed instructions and visual aids
• Perform standardized and repetitive electronic assembly and labeling of components
• Inspect parts for proper placement and insertion
• Utilize barcode scanners and small hand tools
• Maintain accurate progress reports and monitor/restock parts bins
• Follow company safety, health, and security policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area (5S standards)
• Work under direct supervision and complete other duties as assigned

Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail
• Quality inspection skills
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and follow instructions, visual aids, and simple correspondence
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate ratios/percents
• Comfortable operating a PC with Windows-based software; advanced PC skills preferred
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with supervisors and team members
• Problem-solving and data interpretation abilities
• Experience in electronics or manufacturing environments is a plus
