Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking candidates for an Assembly Operator I position at our Fairview, NC facility, specializing in the manufacturing of relays and switches for the aerospace industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

The role involves assembling components, inspecting products, and performing measurements with calipers and gauges, while adhering to safety guidelines and documenting traceability. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
  • Experience using measuring instruments (gauges/calipers) preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
  • Willing and able to work overtime as production needs require.
  • Able to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to remain stationary up to 75% of the time.
  • Capable of operating machinery and moving between work zones.
  • Proficient in understanding and following written instructions in English.

Assembly Operator I

Pay Rate: $17.61/hr

Shift: 1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Temp to Hire (Onsite)

Location: Fairview, NC
