Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Assembly Operator I for the 1st shift in Fairview, NC. The role involves assembling components from detailed instructions, using microscopes and fixtures for precision work, and ensuring traceability through proper paperwork.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED, with manufacturing experience preferred, and be able to read blueprints and use measuring devices such as calipers and gauges. This position is temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to interpret blueprints are highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with measuring devices (e.g., calipers, gauges) preferred.
  • Physically able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and operate necessary machinery.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and move between work zones as needed.
  • Proficiency in understanding and following written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components according to detailed work instructions and drawings.

  • Perform pull tests and troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed.

  • Follow all company and departmental guidelines, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Support production goals by being available for overtime when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Assembly Operator — 1st Shift

Location: Fairview, NC

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am — 3:30pm)

Pay Rate: $17.61/hour

Status: Temp-to-Hire

Our Client is a global leader in manufacturing Relays and Switches for the Aerospace industry. We are seeking motivated candidates for the position of Assembly Operator I at our Fairview, NC facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components according to detailed work instructions and drawings.
  • Use microscopes, small hand tools, and fixtures for precise assembly tasks.
