Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned high-speed automated assembly equipment according to company standards.
  • Perform complex repairs, set-ups, and changeovers on assembly machinery.
  • Conduct quality checks as detailed in the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP), and accurately document all specified measurements at required intervals.
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Make tooling adjustments, including sharpening/conditioning, checking spring‑loaded pins, and adjusting bend and insertion stations.
  • Replace machine components such as sensors, punches, dies, stock parts, air cylinders, and belts as needed.
  • Adjust housing feeds and other machine functions based on established standards.
  • Use measurement tools such as height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopes for precision checks.
  • Identify and resolve machine faults, clear jams, restart production lines, and properly package finished products.
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and clean work area at all times.

Assembly Operator

Pay Rate: $19.04/hr

Shift: 7:30pm — 6:00am CST, Monday through Thursday

Overtime: Some overtime required on Fridays and Saturdays (typically every other weekend)

Position Summary

The Assembly Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machines. Key Responsibilities
