Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 1st shift Assembly team member at our St. Henry plant in Mercer County, Ohio. This entry level position offers starting pay of $17.50 per hour, with a potential raise to $18.25 after 90 days and plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

Training is provided. Duties include inspecting parts and assembling machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring correct ingredient content and packaging according to customer specs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment

• Insuring accurate ingredient content of every batch and packaging product according to customer speculations.
• Operating a walkie and learn the M-Tech System.

Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Assembly team member to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:45am-3:15pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
