Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 1st shift Assembly team member for our St. Henry facility in Northwest Ohio. The role involves inspecting parts, assembling machines, and monitoring operations to ensure product quality.

Starting hourly rate is $17.50 with a potential increase to $18.25 after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance. We offer generous benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and assemble machines in the fabrication department.
• Monitor product and equipment during operation and report changes.
• Ensure correct ingredient content of every batch and packaging according to customer specifications.
• Operate a walkie and learn the M-Tech System.

Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Assembly team member to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 6:45am-3:15pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$17.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions

• Inspecting parts and assembling machines in the fabrication department.
• Monitoring product and equipment during operation and reporting any changes.
• Insuring accurate ingredient content of every batch and packaging product according to customer speculations.
• Operating a walkie and learn the M-Tech System.

Requirements

• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
