Job summary

Cooper Farms in Northwest Ohio is hiring 2nd shift General Production team members in Van Wert. You will operate and maintain department equipment, follow production, quality, and safety guidelines, and work with teammates to keep areas up to standard.

Starting pay is $18.50/hour with potential increase to $18.75 after 90 days, shift hours Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm or 3:30pm–12:00am, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations.
• Ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with production/quality/safety guidelines.
• Work with others to keep all areas up to standard and report abnormalities.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$18.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.75 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job functions include
