Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking an entry-level Assembly team member for our St. Henry facility. The role involves inspecting parts, assembling machinery, and monitoring operation to ensure quality and safety.

You will work a Monday–Friday shift from 6:45am to 3:15pm and may participate in profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with a potential raise to $18.25 after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and assemble machines in the fabrication department.
• Monitor product and equipment during operation and report changes.
• Ensure correct ingredient content for every batch according to specifications.
• Operate a walkie and the M-Tech System.

Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Assembly team member to join our team in St. Henry.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:45am-3:15pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

• Inspecting parts and assembling machines in the fabrication department.
• Monitoring product and equipment during operation and reporting any changes.
• Insuring accurate ingredient content of every batch and packaging product according to customer speculations.
• Operating a walkie and learn the M-Tech System.
