Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Appleton WI is seeking a manufacturing assembler to read diagrams and assemble mechanical components to spec. You will operate hand and pneumatic tools, use measuring devices for accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly,standing for long periods, and adhering to safety procedures. Training is provided for lifting equipment, with comprehensive benefits through Express.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions.
• Able to read measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Experience operating common hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

• Follow safety procedures and operate lifting equipment safely (training provided).
• Reliable attendance and ability to stand for long periods.

• Perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs and frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and squatting.
• Stand for extended periods and maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.

Job description

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: $30.00/HR

Duties:

• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and written assembly instructions.

• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and quality standards.

• Operate hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, and various pneumatic tools including air drills, sanders, and grinders.

• Use measuring devices including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify part accuracy.

• Disassemble, clean, and prepare parts using hand tools and approved cleaning solutions.

• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices safely and efficiently.

• Perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. and frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and squatting.

• Stand for extended periods and remain on your feet for the majority of the workday.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:
