G&W Electric is seeking an Assembler I in Bolingbrook, IL. You will perform sub-assembly and assembly operations with basic complexity, using drawings and BOMs to select parts, and ensuring correct fit and quality.

You may assist in prototypes and participate in a safety‑conscious, efficient production environment. The role requires ability to read instructions in English, use small hand and power tools, and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 0–1 year experience in manufacturing preferred
• Able to read and interpret drawings and BOM
• Able to read instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
• Position parts using templates or measurements
• Assemble components and check for proper fit
• Assist in prototype building when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Conserve resources and support team with tasks
• Train others on basic assembly as needed
• Inspect finished work before proceeding to next operation
• Document actions by completing forms
