Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements
• Assemble components by checking connections for fit and securing parts
• Assist in building prototypes and basic assembly projects as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by following procedures and rules
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently
• Train others in basic assembly tasks as needed
• Inspect finished work and ensure it meets requirements before passing to next operation
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
