Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local manufacturing client in San Luis Obispo, CA, to fill an Assembler position. The role involves building and assembling products in a high-volume environment, following work instructions, schematics, and drawings.

You’ll use small hand tools and may perform testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting. This on-site role offers a 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM shift, weekly paycheck, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of assembly experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
• Comfort using small hand tools and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per work instructions and drawings.
• Use screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons; test and inspect assemblies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing and other departments.
• Stand at a bench, lift up to 10 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3 years of assembly experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with the ability to build and assemble products using work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience using small hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons, and ability to perform testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of assemblies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment, collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred; must be comfortable working at a bench, standing/walking as needed, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
