Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a detail-oriented assembler in Miamisburg, OH to construct, test, and inspect electronic components and subassemblies. The role operates on a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thu) with supervision, using blueprints and precision tools to deliver mission-critical products for defense and industrial markets.

Full-time, direct hire with benefits. Responsibilities include soldering, bonding, wiring, and inline testing; cross-training across programs; and adherence to ISO 9001/AS9100

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years in electronics assembly or technical training.
• Experience with soldering, bonding, epoxy, and circuit mounting.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Willingness to cross-train on multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints under supervision.
• Position and align parts in fixtures.
• Perform soldering, potting, bonding, epoxy, and cleaning tasks.
• Assemble subassemblies into final products and test where required.
• Inspect components using measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Mount components like resistors, capacitors and ICs.
• Follow procedures for repair and rework as needed.

Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler for one of our premier clients in Miamisburg, OH, to construct, test, and inspect complex electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. Working on a 4/10 schedule (Monday-Thursday) under close supervision, you will utilize blueprints, schematics, and precision tools to deliver mission-critical technologies for advanced industrial and defense markets. This is a full time permanent direct hire position with benefits upon hire!!

Responsibilities

• Receive detailed instructions on all work, under close supervision.
• Position and align parts in fixtures or other holding devices.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as soldering, potting, encapsulating,sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, curing, laser welding, operation of pneumaticmachinery, pneumatic presses, etc.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases or other packing material.
• May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device.
• Mount assembled components such as resistors, capacitors and integrated circuits.
• Connect components, wires to printed circuit or route via soldering.
• Adjust, trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.- Perform inline testing, inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.
• Ability to cross train on other programs in the facility.
• Perform various repair/rework operations using approved written procedures.
• Utilize schematics and blueprint drawings to complete work.
• Intermittent OVERTIME, typically completed on Fridays.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Skills

6 to 24 months of industrial electronics assembly experience or technical training. Advanced familiarity with wiring, bonding, welding, and soldering operations. Background working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems. Cross-training adaptability across multiple manufacturing programs.

High school diploma or equivalent. Practical assembly techniques (soldering, potting, bonding, epoxy application, laser welding, and cleaning). Experience operating pneumatic machinery, holding fixtures, and presses. Inline inspection, testing, and measuring using electrical test equipment. Component mounting (resistors, capacitors, ICs) and circuit wiring. Ability to follow approved written procedures for repair and rework operations.
