Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an organized Production Assembler to join our Operations team in Indiana. You will assemble components and products to meet production schedules with focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role requires manual dexterity, basic tool use, and attention to detail. Prior experience is valued but 0-1 years is acceptable; standard hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to assemble products accurately under deadlines.
  • Competency or prior experience using basic hand tools, power tools, or assembly equipment.
  • Physical capability to manually lift, bend, and stand for extended periods during production.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding parts numbers, measurements, and quality verification.
  • Commitment to a safe work environment and strict adherence to workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Component Assembly: Accurately assemble parts and products based on blueprints, schematics, or production tickets to build complete units.
  • Quality Control: Inspect components before assembly and verify finished products against technical specifications to ensure data code and quality accuracy.
  • Equipment & Tool Operation: Safely operate assembly tools, hand tools, and light machinery required to secure and finish products.
  • Material Handling: Manually lift, move, and organize raw materials and finished goods to maintain an efficient workstation.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with management and warehouse teams to resolve production issues, such as identifying and reporting missing components or defective parts.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and departmental safety regulations, including the consistent and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • General Duties: Execute any additional tasks, line cleanups, or operational support functions assigned by management.

  • Experience working in multi-channel production logistics, customized product assembly, or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
