O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations, sales, and team leadership. You will assist in scheduling, payroll, staff development, and customer service while working with the store and district management to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Coordinate with district and store managers on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging staff.
• Communicate information from meetings to team members.
• Train new team members.
• Handle performance evaluations and recommend pay increases.
• Support store manager in safety compliance and training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager; schedule customer calls.
• Assist in store operations and delivery fleet maintenance.
• Ensure store/HUB store is neat and organized; manage scheduling and payroll.
• Learn to use scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll systems.
• Manage gross profit components and monitor returns for core/warranty abuse.
• Review price matching and overrides; track KPI dashboards.
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and discuss opportunities.
