Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Manager in Training to support store management in daily operations and staff development. Training focuses on leadership, sales, and overall store performance.

You will work closely with the store and district managers, participate in hiring and training, and oversee scheduling, safety, and KPI monitoring to prepare for a future management role at another location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail store operations.
• Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging staff.
• Communicate information from meetings to all team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll, and safety compliance; monitor KPI dashboards.
