Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an aspiring leader to join the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program. This development-focused role prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences.

You will work with a district leader, HR partner, and coaching store manager to build leadership skills, gain merchandising and customer service experience, and progress toward store leadership within the designated market.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; a four-year college degree is preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this program.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion.
• Support the store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
