Job summary

Belle Tire offers a Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to mold future store leaders through hands-on retail operations, coaching, and guided leadership experiences. You will work with a Store Manager mentor to lead teams, drive sales, manage daily operations, and deliver premium customer service.

Participants learn Belle Tire's 6-Step Sales Process, gain P&L exposure, and rotate through store functions with opportunities to relocate for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Valid drivers' license
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a retail or related customer-facing environment
• Desire to advance into a Store Manager role within 6–12 months
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a retail team to achieve business and customer goals.
• Develop leadership and communication skills that foster trust, accountability, and engagement.
• Model Belle Tire's culture and values through professionalism and teamwork.
• Observe and assist in team huddles, feedback, and training sessions.
• Apply strategic thinking by connecting daily tasks to store and company goals.
• Learn and execute Belle Tire's 6-Step Sales Process to ensure customer-focused interactions.
• Identify customer needs and offer effective solutions.
• Drive sales across products and services while maintaining service standards.
• Build customer relationships and resolve concerns or escalations.
• Gain hands-on experience with store operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and shop workflows.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and procedures.
• Coordinate shop productivity and communication between sales and technicians.
• Understand how operational decisions impact customer experience and store performance.
• Learn fundamentals of P&L management, including sales, labor, and controllable expenses.
• Analyze financial reports with Store Manager to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support company initiatives and inventory controls.
• Serve as a role model for Belle Tire's beliefs and customer-first mindset.
• Promote an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
• Engage with team and community to strengthen the Belle Tire brand.
