Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to lead store operations in Southern California. This role partners with the Store Director to deliver excellence in customer service, labor management, and financial performance.

You will supervise store teams, drive safety and compliance, and ensure a consistent, high-quality shopping experience across the store. This position offers opportunities for leadership development and career progression.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of progressive retail leadership experience required, including at least one year in a salaried/exempt retail leadership role.
• Operational leadership experience in grocery or big-box retail strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using operational and financial reporting to support decision making, labor planning, inventory management, and sales performance.
• Food Safety and Sanitation certification (or ability to obtain).
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.

Responsabilidades

• Operational Excellence: Drive store conditions, sales results, and control expenses; review P&L results and support budget goals.
• Customer Experience: Champion a customer-first culture and engage with customers on the sales floor.
• People & Culture Leadership: Lead, coach, develop, and supervise store associates; participate in end-to-end hiring and onboarding.
• Thought & Results Leadership: Analyze sales, labor, shrink, and trends; own priorities and action plans.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, pricing integrity, and timely reporting.
