Job summary

Laredo Country Club in Provo is seeking a Cook III to join our culinary team. This entry-level position supports daily production, assists with basic menu items, and helps ensure quality and sanitation under the guidance of senior cooks and chefs.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, managing prep work, maintaining clean workstations, and assisting with deliveries. Applicants should have a high school diploma; culinary education is a plus but not required, and a strong work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary education is a plus but not required.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not necessary.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of basic menu items, sauces, vegetables, proteins, and side dishes.
• Follow standardized recipes and production sheets accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
• Support daily service preparation and plate dishes according to established standards.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Learn cooking techniques and kitchen procedures through hands-on training.
