Job summary

Invited is seeking an entry-level Cook 1 to support daily kitchen operations, focusing on setup, prep, and consistent food quality. You will work under the guidance of more experienced cooks and help ensure efficient service for members and guests.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 3 years in a kitchen, and a valid food handler certification, with strong communication to follow directions and deliver quality results in a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, execute daily prep tasks, and organize workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station following Invited’s standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent presentation of daily specials and menu items.
• Receive and store goods for kitchen use as requested.
• Manage condiments, dressings, sauces, and soups used by others.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with Executive/Sous Chef about product needs or quality issues.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive environment; assist members and guests with service.
