Job summary

White Lodging is hiring an Assistant General Manager to serve as the operational co-captain of the Austin Marriott Downtown leadership team, overseeing day-to-day hotel operations across rooms, food and beverage, events and guest services in a high-volume downtown property.

You will drive performance on guest satisfaction, associate engagement, event execution and profitability, while mentoring team members and positioning yourself for a future General Manager role within White Lodging's Austin

Qualifications

• Past leadership experience in Food and Beverage management and/or Rooms Division operations at a full-service or large-scale hotel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as GM's co-captain overseeing all daily hotel operations across rooms, F&B, events, and guest services.
• Drive performance across guest satisfaction, associate engagement, events, audits, and F&B profitability.
• Prioritize associate training and development to build long-term careers.
• Foster relationships aligning with White Lodging culture and promote internal advancement.
• Develop operational skills and prepare for a General Manager role within White Lodging.
