Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a restaurant supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations at Hyatt Place Austin Downtown. You will manage staffing, setup, service, and breakdown to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

In this role, you’ll lead and mentor associates, monitor inventory and payroll, ensure health and safety standards, address guest concerns, and support hiring, training, and cross-training initiatives to build a skilled, motivated team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food & beverage team in a high-volume setting.
• Strong guest service orientation and team motivation.
• Knowledge of ServSafe or food safety practices.
• Excellent communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and resolve issues.
• Previous supervisory experience in F&B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations, including staffing, setup, service, and breakdown.
• Lead and mentor restaurant associates while fostering teamwork and morale.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage payroll to support efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, empowering associates to exceed expectations.
• Support hiring, training, and cross-training initiatives to build a skilled and motivated team.
