Cumberland Farms is seeking a District Manager in Training to develop into a District Manager capable of guiding a broad network of store managers and operations across multiple sites. The role emphasizes strategic planning, financial oversight, and people leadership within a fast-paced convenience retailer environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred education: College degree in business or related field.
• Minimum experience: 10 years retail experience; DMIT program completion.
• Preferred experience: 1-3 years multi-unit c-store/restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic plan for the area, including staffing and development of team personnel.
• Oversee engagement and productivity across many locations, promoting retention and growth.
• Lead by example with clear goals, accountability and effective communication.
• Build leadership by hiring/promoting store management and ensuring training and coaching.
• Analyze financials, P&L, expenses, labor costs and inventory to improve profitability.
• Conduct weekly store visits to ensure standards and controls are followed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and safety across the territory.
• Travel up to 95% and manage work-week hours as needed.
