Job summary

PDS Health's Dentists of Lake Charles is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee (OMT) to gain the skills and company knowledge to independently run a financially viable PDS supported dental office. The OMT is supported by a supervisor and completes the OM Development Program.

This role includes structured curriculum, on-the-job practice and development meetings, with the expectation to independently manage a dental office in 4–6 months after program completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Operations Manager Trainee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values and best operational practices.
• Assess, hire and retain right-fit team members through training and coaching.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model to meet office imperatives with Owner Dentist.
• Drive year over year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to hit monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead team development to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Maintain professional appearance and communications with supervisors.
• Understand People-related tools and resources for HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager with progress and goals.
• Develop staff and office protocols for efficient operations during manager absences.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
