Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two or more years of commercial construction experience.
• Excellent communication skills and strong negotiation abilities.
• Understands construction laws, building codes, and can read blueprints.
• Maintains ethics and company policies.
• Problem solving and ability to relate data from different sources.
• Ability to plan, allocate resources, and work with limited supervision.
• Preferred professional affiliations (e.g., AGC) and credentials (e.g., PE).
• Spanish commands, questions, or instructions related to construction are a plus.
• Strong computer and technical skills; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects.
• Support preparation of estimates, budgets, and cost reports.
• Organize pre-construction planning meetings and subcontract negotiations.
• Develop project management plans and execution strategies.
• Support schedule development and milestone tracking.
• Prepare client pay requests and manage billings collection.
• Coordinate procurement and spending within budget constraints.
• Oversee quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Mentor project and field engineers and review submittals and RFIs.
• Maintain owner relationships and update project documentation.
