Job summary

Bohler’s West Hartford, CT office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You will contribute to projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, while laying the groundwork for a rewarding engineering career, with mentorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Partner with engineers and mentors to learn site design from concept through construction.
• Create site layouts and grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Support preparation of stormwater reports and submittals.
• Attend site visits and coordinate with project teams.
