Job summary

Bohler’s Bedford, NH office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You'll work closely with engineers and project managers, using AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts from concept through construction, with mentorship and training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience is typical for entry level roles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred; training provided if not yet proficient.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Learn every stage of site design from concept through construction with experienced mentors.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in Bohler’s Learning & Development training programs.
