Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) invites applications for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily restaurant operations and assist the General Manager. The AGM will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and service standards are met across all areas of the operation.

Ideal candidates bring restaurant leadership on multiple shifts, strong organizational and problem solving skills, and the ability to train and develop future leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Able to stand and perform physical tasks; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks and quality assurance.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to deliver customer experience.
• Prioritize health and safety and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Participate in training and development for leadership roles.
• Collaborate with GM on recruiting and onboarding new hires.
• Support GM in achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Provide 5-star service and assist in restaurant operations as needed.
