Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on screed experience, can read project plans, and are prepared for daily travel. Safety and quality compliance are essential, with a strong commitment to teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating asphalt screeds.
• Ability to read project plans and layouts.
• Willingness to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate asphalt screeds to achieve proper grade, slope and mat thickness.
• Read and interpret project plans, profiles, and layout markings.
• Monitor asphalt flow and temperature to ensure surface quality.
• Coordinate with paver, roller and lute operators for smooth workflow.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
