• Repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Capable of passing required physical examination.

• Read a tape measure and understand basic measurements.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Asphalt Roller Operator - Montgomery, AL (Construction)

This position involves the safe and efficient operation of Asphalt Rollers and compactors to bring asphalt, soils and aggregate within compaction specifications on heavy highway projects.

Requirements

• Experience in the operation of an Asphalt Roller on road construction projects preferred.


• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.


• Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate characteristics


• Knowledge of rolling patterns.


• Familiarity with vibrating frequencies in comparison to maximum depth.


• Must be able to follow grades.

• Must be able to repetively lift 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel.
