Job summary

Aerotek in Blanchard, OK is seeking an ASME Code Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. You will perform 6G pipe welding and forge ASME-certified components on site, with a daytime 1st shift schedule.

Expect steady work, competitive pay at 28–32/hr, overtime, and benefits including medical, dental and vision. You’ll read blueprints, follow WPS/PQR, and inspect welds to ensure code compliance.

Qualifications

• ASME Code Welding experience required.
• Recent 6G pipe welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of WPS/PQR documentation.
• Experience making weld repairs based on inspection findings.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASME code welding on pipe, nozzle, and pressure vessel components.
• Complete 6G pipe and nozzle welds to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Follow WPS and PQR requirements.
• Perform weld repairs based on RT and UT inspection results.
• Use MIG (GMAW), Flux-Core (FCAW), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) processes.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and code compliance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
