We are seeking dependable and motivated Welders to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work within a metal fabrication department operating fabrication equipment, performing spot welding, reading blueprints, and handling materials throughout the production process. Operate metal fabrication machinery safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Perform spot welding on metal components according to quality and production standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
Use a tape measure accurately to verify dimensions and ensure quality requirements are met.
Load and unload fabrication and welding equipment manually.
Stage, organize, and prepare raw materials for production.
Follow established production processes to meet daily output goals.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to support production needs.
Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.
Previous spot welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience working in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong tape measure and measurement skills.
Experience operating fabrication machinery.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining quality standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
