Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and American Sign Language.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience.
• Background checks may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and ASL on onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and data-protection standards (HIPAA/FERPA/GLBA).
• Interact professionally with clients and participants at each assignment.
• Maintain up-to-date language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge.
