Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Professional proficiency in English and American Sign Language.
Ability to accurately provide interpretation between English and American Sign Language.
Must Hold at least ONE American Sign Language Certification (RID, BEI, or EIPA 3.7+).
State-specific ASL interpreting license where applicable.
Résumé in English during application process.
One or more years of professional interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and American Sign Language during onsite assignments.
Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements.
Interact professionally with clients and participants.
Maintain language proficiency and terminology for assignments.
